(More customer reviews)I liked WMF pressure cooker, but after two years, it started leaking the steam between the lid and pan, so I bought the gasket.
I don't know why, but it didn't work. I don't see the steam, but just my pressure cooker didn't work.
I have Fagor stainless steel pressure cooker. Some steam is away between the lid and pot, but it does work as a pressure cooker.

Presto 82087 pressure cooker and canner gauge. Review

(More customer reviews)No nut, washer, or sealing washer came with it. The nut from the old one would not fit the threads. The threads were a different type and the guy at the hardware store could not find a nut to fit. Possibly the threads were damaged. I am not happy.

Toward the end of the second canning session it started to leak just like the one it replaced (that had been in the lid for ten years!) I'm not sure what the problem is. It's not something that you can easily mess up. Maybe this seal had been on the shelf a long time before I got it. Anyway. Not very satisfied.

The sealing ring fits around the inside rim of the cover and forms a pressure-tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure canner during canning and cooking. When installing a sealing ring, work it into the cover in four small sections, for example, top, bottom , left and right. Work it into the groove a small section at a time until it is fully in place. Place the cover on the cooker body. Put one hand on the top center of the cover and push down firmly. Open and close the cover several times.
