(More customer reviews)We just got this appliance to replace a "turbo" that we had for more than 20 years. We have used it a couple of times and it seems to work just fine. The cooking is quite even. The bowl is large enough with convenient handles. The heating unit itself I find to be well-designed with its handle also doubling as a safety shut off. I cannot vouch for the product's reliability and durability since we've only had it for a short time but at the price, I would certainly recommend this particular brand. It seems to be a safe, inexpensive bet. And for those who have not tried this sort of appliance, I would definitely recommend cooking this way. It's relatively fast, convenient, and drains grease away from the food. We even have good friends who swear that brats cooked this way are the best they've ever tasted.
