There should be cooking suggestions for this product. It said it could cook frenchfries. I tried and it never cooked them. I restarted the microwave and it melted the bootom of the product on the microwave dish. That was probably my fault but they should at least give suggestion of how to use the product for a satisfactory result.

TO GET A GOOD SEAL MAKE SURE THE PAN HANDLES ARE EAST/WEST AND THE LID HANDLE IS NORTH/SOUTH..... SEEMS LIKE THE LID GETS "SUCKED IN" WHEN PUT THIS WAY AND FOOD COOKS BETTER AND QUICKER.
THE RECIPE BOOKLET I GOT WAS NOT MUCH HELP, SO I USED MY IMAGINATION AND ADJUSTED MY COOKING TIMES AND VOILA.... EVERY THING COMES OUT DELISH.

(More customer reviews)If i had not found a glowing review of this product on the web, I would not have purchased this item as I was skeptical the eggspress would work as described. This gadget makes great hard boiled eggs!!!!! The first time i put raw eggs in the unit i did not snap the top on correctly and the eggs started oozing out the sides. Once I snapped the top on correctly the eggs stopped oozing. I also misjudged the time need to cook the hard boiled eggs. All i did is put the unit back together and microwaved the eggs for 90 more seconds and the eggs were cooked perfectly!
During my first test run I figured out how to correctly assemble the eggspress and time needed to fully cook the eggs. the eggs taste great! Some of the eggs are a little rubbery on the top side. The eggpress is a quick and easy way to make hard boiled eggs!!! Not having to peel the shell off of the eggs is a real plus!!!!!!!

Nordic Ware Microwave Bacon Tray & Food Defroster Review

(More customer reviews)I've given this a good rating because I remember using my mom's eons ago, and I was happy to see that I could order one for myself decades later! But I goofed up. I didn't take into consideration the DIAGONAL measurement of this item, and it's too big to TURN in my microwave. So... make sure YOUR microwave has at least 16 inches of clearance inside if you want your bacon to spin. Duh.
UPDATE, ONE YEAR LATER: I did buy a smaller version of this tray, but I decided I like cooking bacon in the oven way better than the 'wave, even though it takes more time. Get a baking sheet with a cooling rack that fits inside (very cheap at a restaurant supply) and lay the bacon strips on top. Put it into a cold oven and set for 400 degrees. It takes about 15-20 minutes, but the results are crispier, flatter, and yummier (especially if you brush the strips with maple syrup the last few minutes of cooking). All the drippings are caught in the tray, which you can pour into a container pretty easily. Pork fat rules!

Nordic Ware Microwave Sloped Bacon Tray (Medium) Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bacon tray specifically to fit in my tiny microwave oven. As a user of other bacon trays throughout the years I am big fan of the way this tray and others like it cook the bacon and allow the grease to drain off. I am similarly pleased with the way this tray performs in that respect. However, that being said, the size of the tray is the biggest drawback. Regular pieces of bacon hang over the side (although they generally shrink through the cooking process). I recommend centercut bacon for this tray as it is generally a shorter cut of pork and fits more easily on the tray. The maximum amount of bacon you will be able to cook at a time is 6 pieces and that is really pushing it 4 pieces is better. This tray is suitable for small microwave ovens and small output.

At last! A way to cook ramen in the microwave so that it comes out tasting like you cooked it on the stovetop!
The cooker is large enough to hold 2 packs of ramen at once and is suitable for cooking additional ingredients like eggs freshly cracked right on top of the ramen brick.
After 7 minutes in the microwave, it's hot and steamy enough to stir a raw egg in and have egg drop ramen.
I use chives myself. ^^
Clean up is easy and the ramen flavoring doesn't stain.
My favorite feature is only present in the other model available from eKitron though. It would have to be the fact it has a miso spork that's perfect for eating ramen and it fits conveniently right inside the lid. ^^
I haven't tried this particular model, but it's made by the same company and is more than likely of the same high quality. You can compare and contrast at eKitron.com.
Highly, Highly recommended for any ramen fan!

This way I can cook the amount I need and hopefully not over eat. Whole wheat pasta need to be cooked a little longer than regular pasta. I've only used it for cooking pasta so far but I love it. I usually only cook for 1 or 2 people. It's faster than waiting for a pot of water to boil. I haven't tried the recipe book yet.

And what I found out was: There really is no comparison. Pasta n More LOOKS like you're getting more for your money, but doesn't deliver. The instructions are unclear, and the cookbook that comes with it is lame. I've used it 4 times and my pasta has came out hard on the ends and pasty in the middle.

(More customer reviews)This is a classic case of false advertising. Although the phrase "pressure cooker" is used in the name, the product itself has no facility for holding pressure greater than atmospheric. There are no valves, no seals, no pressure regulation mechanism.
It is light weight plastic with a minimal attachment device for the lid. There is a simple sliding mechanism for closing the lid, and the cooking instructions tell you to leave it *open* during cooking. You are cooling in a tupperware like container vented to *prevent* pressure build up.

When I first saw the FASTA PASTA microwave cooker internet demo video, I was a bit skeptical but interested enough to purchase the product from Amazon.com. After using the product three times, I can honestly say that it not only cooks pasta very fast but better, with less mess and energy, than pot boiling the noodles. Just follow the simple instructions and you will have perfectly cooked pasta without having to check it while cooking for readiness. I wish that this product had been invented years ago. My ONLY minor negative comments: 1. FASTA PASTA can only cook up to four pasta servings at one time, which makes its use for a large group impracticle. 2. The water measurement lines are a bit difficult to see when water and pasta is added to the cooker. Adding color to these lines would make them easier to see.

I couldnt eat the dorm food and this allowed me to cook pasta in my room. I wish i hadnt lost my package insert, that told me the cooking times for everything, so if anyone else goes out and buys this, do us all a favor and post it, eh? I liked that it gave cooking times for steaming veggies, pasta and rice; I LOVED how easy it was to clean. This is a MUST for any one going away to school, and makes a GREAT graduation gift.
