NORPRO 559 Immersion Heater for Warming Liquids Review

Product performs as expected. the one bit of advice to anyone purchasing this item is READ and pay heed to the INSTRUCTIONS! I went through 2 before I realized the reason they didn't last long was that I was letting the liquid go past the point of damaging the heater. in other words don't walk off while it's immursed for it takes one time and one time only to damage it. It takes about 5 minutes to heat water to 180 to 190 degrees perfect for tea. if you do this it will last a long time.

Hamilton Beach 6-Quart Slow cooker Review

Hamilton Beach 6-Quart Slow cooker
Average Reviews:

With only two reviews to go by, it was somewhat hard to decide to purchase this product; however, I'm glad that I did. The handles make it very easy to carry, especially when the pot is full, and the secured lid is wonderful - no spills or losing of the lid while in transport! Something that one should know if purchasing this product is that the handles do get warm.
If you're one that does the potluck dinners, then this is a good traveling pot. It is not as awkward to carry, especially when it has food in it (as apposed to the other crock pots, where your knuckles brush against the side and you get burned while carrying it).
Personally I can only find one fault with this product and that is with the handles getting warm, but if I can carry/hold it for about 5 mins. without dropping it or setting it down, then it's not all that bad.
I bought mine at a store, so the price was under $30. Needless to say, I'm pleased with this product.
