(More customer reviews)The VersaCooker is more than just a slow cooker. I love the way I can brown meat and saute vegetables all in the same pot when making soups. I love shellfish and use the VersaCooker to saute shrimp in olive oil with some pesto sauce. Then I add white wine, with lemon zest and a little lemon juice. When finished, I stir in some cooked linguini and serve. It's always delicious.
The VersaCooker has a rack you can place in the pot for steaming/poaching and or roasting. There is just so much you can do with this one appliance, it is truly versatile.
I opted to purchase a refurbished VersaCooker and I'm glad I did. The price was great and the cooker appeared to be brand new.
