(More customer reviews)I have had one of these cookers for about 10 years. I bought it to fry turkeys. I wanted the most stable cooker I could find, and this seemed to fit the bill.
The circular base, the deep recessed area over the burner where the pot sits, and the fact that the entire frame of the unit is one solid piece makes it very stable and strong.
No worry about legs digging into soft ground and tilting, etc. The working mechanism is about as simple and foolproof as possible, just a burner and the L.P. regulator.
It sits low to the ground which makes it easy to lower the turkey into the pot, which of course makes it safer to use. It is also very portable. I believe it is the perfect cooker for my occasional turkey fry.
