Schlemmertopf Original Glazed Clay Cooker, Small Review

Purchased this pot as a replacement for one I had for years. This one is much nicer quality, larger and cooks even nicer than my old one. Since I paid nearly half the price for it, I was worried that the quality would not be there but I was pleasantly surprised by the fine caliber of the merchandise.

George Foreman RC0010B Smart Kitchen 30-Cup Digital Multicooker with Sear Setting Review

I got my multicooker on Saturday and used it for dinner. I found that it reaches the set temperature quickly so you need to be prepared for that. Other electric cookers I have used take longer to reach operating temperature. The meal came out fine and the multicooker cleaned up easily.
I got this product because my Cuisinart rice cooker is annoying to use and difficult to do other things than just cook rice. This product has a much larger steam basket than the Cuisinart. It is also more versatile than my Presto multicooker. That has a terrible steaming option and can't cook rice.
Some people complain about the lack of instructions. The booklet that comes in the box is shorter than the PDF version which is found on the product's home page. Do a google on George Foreman multicooker and you'll see the link for the PDF. That version of the manual has detailed rice cooking and steaming instructions. It has some recipes too.
Some people complain about the lack of recipes. I am a vegetarian and am almost vegan now. No appliances provide recipes that fit my needs. I still manage to cook and make use of the products. If you know how to cook something you should be able to figure out how to cook in the multicooker. If you buy a new skillet I doubt if you will get detailed recipes. Yet you would be able to use it and figure out how even it heats, etc. This is just a cooking appliance. It is a tool. Use it. Get used to it. Adapt you current recipes. You'll do fine.
I only gave the multicooker 4 stars because I have not used all off the functions yet. What I have done so far has met my expectations. I can see where I may stop using some other appliances that are more limited in functionality than the multicooker since it can do what they can and more. That will save some space in my kitchen.

Cook's Essentials 4-Quart Digital Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker Review

What can I say, it's fantastic! I've used other pressure cookers in the past, and this tops them all. And the price! So reasonable! I've even got my boyfriend making dinner with it! Also, buy Bob's cookbook, "Slow Food Fast". It's a great compliment to the machine.

With this amazingly affordable Cook's Essentials stainless steel pressure cooker, you can prepare quick, tasty, no-hassle meals - without taking a big bite out of your budget. If you frequently pick up burgers or pizza for dinner because you're short on time, this pressure cooker is your quick-and-easy meal solution. Depending on what you're making and the pressure required to cook it, this smart vessel prepares foods up to three times faster than regular cooking - without heating up the entire house. With this pressure cooker, you can treat your family to a home-cooked meal - and have more time to sit down and enjoy it with them. Because the pressure cooker prepares foods in a sealed environment, flavor and moisture get locked in. Even less-expensive cuts of meat will come out tender, juicy, and delicious. Trying to eat a little healthier? This pressure cooker also helps lock in the nutrients. Plus, the sealed vessel cooks foods in their own natural juices, virtually eliminating the need for added fats and oils. As a precaution, the timer doesn't start counting down until the cooker reaches the correct pressure: this means your ingredients are always cooked for the proper amount of time. Once the timer runs out, the unit slowly and safely reduces the inner pressure, automatically switching to keep-warm mode. Thanks to safety valves in the lid, you can't accidentally open the cooker while it's still under pressure. Of course, if you do need to get to your food before cooking is completed, the quick-release valve releases the pressure in a controlled stream straight up and harmlessly away from you.
